Processed by molecular distillation, Opti-DHA is an excellent source of these fatty acids, providing 450 mg of docosahexeanoic acid (DHA) and 150 mg eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) per serving.
The omega-3 fatty acid EPA is the direct precursor for the anti-inflammatory prostaglandins E1 and E3, whereas DHA is of primary importance for the structural integrity of neuronal membranes.
